ShopRite week of 7/17/2016

Here are some deals I snagged at my ShopRite.   Do note that my store will allow me to double up to 20 coupons, up to and including the $1 coupons if I keep my total at $25 or higher.

(4) Kleenex $1.49 ea. I had a $1 off 4 coupon 7/10 SS

Pack of Boneless Center Cut Pork Chops for $1.97lb = $5.52

(2) Butterball Turkey Bacon $1.88 ea. – Had a $1 off 2 coupon

Turkey Hill Xtreme Ice cream $2.50 – $1 coupon (made my ice cream .50 cents! )

Right Guard deodorant $2.79 – I had a $2 off coupon  7/17 RP

Herbal Essence  Shampoo + Conditioner 2/$4.98 – I had a $3 off 2 coupon

2 Pack of Black Sharpies .75 cents

4 pack of Sharpie High Lighters .75 cents

1 pack of Eraser Mate Black Pens $2.49

Paid $27.12 for 21 items = $1.29 ea.  Save about $11.50 in coupons.

 

CVS week of 7/17/2016

Jenny at SouthernSavers used to say this was a FREE store, and today I finally felt like I understood what that meant.   I started fresh today with no extra care bucks.   I paid $14.80 out of pocket when I checked out (including tax) and in return I got $15 in extra care bucks. This made everything FREE…. they even paid me .20 cents to take it all out of the store!

I do have to say that it seems the system kicked some of my coupons off my order, which I didn’t catch until now.  However, it did not mess up with my extra care bucks, and since it ended up being free I will not dispute it.  However the chatty customer that wanted to talk coupons while the cashier was scanning mine was a little frustrating, and made concentrating hard to do.

I got 2 of the Colgate Max Toothpaste which are $2.99 and you get $2 ecb / limit 2  –  So I bought 2 , used my $1 off 2 coupon from inserts, and one of the coupons that didn’t apply was my $2 off 2 Toothpaste personalize CVS coupon.  I did get my $4 ecb

I got 2 of the Colgate Total Mouthwash which were $5.29 ea.   The special is spend $10 and get $5 ecb.   I used a $2 off $6 mouthwash personalized CVS coupon.  I also have (2) $2 coupons from 6/26 Smart Source.   So I paid $4.98 and got $5 ecb

I bought one Skinitmate Shaving Cream for $3.49 – used no coupons and got a $5 ecb.

Irish Spring 3 pack of bar soap for $2. I had the $1 Redbox coupon.   I paid $1 and got $1 back in ecb.

Dawn Dish Soap the small bottle was .99 cents, and the Redbox gave me .24 coupon so the total was to be .75 but my coupon didn’t apply.

I bought 6 of the Nabisco cookies for $1.99 (Buy 1 Get 1 Free)  – I used (2) $1 off 3 insert coupons since I missed the printables.   I only find 1 of the $1 coupons attached to my receipt.

I also have the $6 off $30 order, as well as a $1 extra buck reward on my account.

So I really over paid by $3.24 + tax.  So this could be a $3.44 money maker if all the coupons applied correctly.

I will just be happy with my FREE order. 🙂

 

 

 

Staples – 1¢ Paper this week!

This week Staples has paper for 1¢.  How do you get it you ask?

1. Print this coupon!
2. Go to Staples
3. Buy the $6 ream of paper advertised.
4. Get rebate form to submit for $5.99 refund.
5. Rejoice when your rebate shows up in mail in a couple weeks!

Now I had previously done a similar deal .. and got a Visa gift card for $5.79.  So this week I will go and buy the $6 paper and pay with my $5.79 card leaving a balance of 21¢ + tax to pay on the paper.  I will then submit for the rebate and get another gift card in the mail.

When I get my gift card from this week I will save it… because Staples seems to run the 1¢ deal pretty regularly and hopefully I will never have to pay more than $1 on printing paper again!

CVS week of 5/8 – what can you get with $10?

So I love to coupon, and no I don’t have those organized shelves in a garage somewhere that look like a store.   I don’t even have a garage LOL.   I do have some extra necessities and I also have a bin of things that my neighbors buy off of me for a great deal.  I also use things in homeless kits that I keep in our truck to give to the needy when we see them (which is often).

I keep watching these YouTube videos and these girls pay with like $50 in extra care bucks at CVS.  Some have multiple cards, which can at time make it hard to figure out what you can do with one card, and only $10 in your pocket, or in extra care bucks.   In fact that is what I have exactly in extra care bucks from last week….. let’s see what I can do.

Hefty Trash Bags  – on sale for $5.29  I had a $1 coupon (but it says does not double) = $4.29 for 45ct.

Sundown Vitamins had to $1 off 1 coupons.   I got Calcium & D3  each for under .75 cents.

Floridas Natural Orange Juice was $2.49

Peter Pan Peanut Butter was on sale $1.88  – I had a $1 off 2 coupon – $1.72/2

Select General Mills Cereals are $1.88  – I bought 3 .   I had one .50/1 Reese’s Puff printable coupons, and $1.00 off 2 (large selection listed) so got another Reese’s and some Golden Grahams.  .88 cents each box.

After coupons I paid $22.77  – Gotta Love It!

 

Shop Rite 2/24

Just back from my trip to Shop Rite this morning.  Below are some of the specials I think are worth mentioning, I hope this helps when you are making your list.

Nature’s Bounty Vitamins are 50% off .  – I got the 500mg Vit C bottles for $2.64.   I had a $1 off coupon from 1/3RP  which doubled to $2 with $25 purchase making both bottles I got for 64¢ each.

Skintimate Shaving Cream was $2.99  – I had a $1 coupon from 2/2 SS   – making it 99¢ each.

There was also a store coupon for $1 off Cinnamon Toast Crunch, I had $1/2 printable coupon – each box was $3.99 and savingstar will give you $1 with purchase of 2.  So it was the larger box, and in the end I paid $2.50 a box.. not awesome.. but not bad.

Also Savingstar healthy coupon this week is 20% back on lettuce .. not the bagged salad stuff.   So I got me a head of romaine lettuce.

I redeemed my Perfectly Cooked Meatballs rain check today.. making each $2.49 – I got 4.  I had 4 coupons for $1 off – which doubled, making each bag 49¢.   If you don’t have a rain check, they are $2.99 this week I believe, so still only 99¢ 1/31 SS

I picked up a Breyers Ice cream to go with the pie, $2.50

I snagged a magic eraser / store brand pack for $1.99

I splurged, and impulsively bought some Philadelphia cream cheese $2.49

I realized I was about $10 short for my $10 off $50 coupon since they didn’t have a couple things I had planned on getting.  So I remember the Savingstar special.. if I bought $12 in stick or string cheese they give you $3 back.  So while I didn’t have any coupons on me, I was pretty happy with remembering that and my daughter will be super happy to have them for lunches.   so

So when all said and done.. I paid $23.08  / Saved $58.17 – 72%

Rite Aid 2/22

Just got back from Rite Aid.   I will go again this week as well.

(2) Renu Contact Solutions – normally $9.99 ea.  On sale $5.99 – Coupon in 2/21 Smart Source for $2.00 off.. I had 2 coupons.    Ea. $3.99 – get 300 PP back for each one.  – so only costing me .99 cents each.

(2) CeraVe Cleansing Soap Bars – normally $6.99 ea.  – On sale for B1G1 50% off. –  Had 2 coupons for $3.00 off each from 2/21 Smart Source – So paid $10.49 for both – $6.00 cpns = $4.49 – got 300 PP – so only .75 cents each.

So 900 PP … paid $12.42 out of pocket.

 

 

Woohoo Smithfield Coupons!

I have been trying to thank at least one company each week for a product that I use and like.   I have been curious what their response will be, as I have heard this is a way to possibly get coupons as a thank you.   I recently wrote to Gwaltney and thanked them for their hot dogs, and they very nicely sent me 3 Smithfield Coupons… $1.00 off any one Smithfield product that doesn’t expire until April.   Woohooo Smithfield Coupons.
